Drill & Blasting Section Chief
Qualifications:
  • Min D3 Geology / Mine Engineering
  • Has 3 years experience in Mining Company
  • Has certification of Drill & Blasting
  • Has experience to make Drill & Blasting scheduling plan
  • Good communication in English (Oral & Written)
  • Willing to work on site area
Retail Project Engineer
Qualifications:
  • Have a Degree in Civil Engineering
  • More than 5 years experience in construction, preferably in medium scale projects
  • Safety and Quality experience
  • Have strong project management skills
  • Experienced with vendor and contractor management
  • Preferably with experience handling government liaison work
Product Specialist
Qualifications:
  • Expertise in building material industry, preferably roofing industry
  • Expertise in consultant and sales
  • Focus more on approaching project mediator such as consultant ( Architect, civil ) and contractor ( Applicator )
  • Farming oriented – product knowledge intro, no sales oriented
  • Background Architect / Civil Engineer
  • Minimal 28 years old
  • Minimal 3 years experience in the same industry, preferable same role
Technical Engineer
Qualifications:
  • Expertise in consultancy more in project supervision
  • Expertise in building material industry, preferably roofing industry
  • Focus more on monitoring, controlling, supervising, and manager projects ( Installation )
  • Background Architect / Civil Engineer
  • Minimal 28 years old
  • Minimal 3 years experience in the same industry, preferable same role
SITE SUPERVISOR
Accountabilities:
  • Ensuring that adequate duty of care is exercised in all aspects of your work activities.
  • Personal compliance with the BLY OH&S Regulations and any site specific rules.
  • Maintaining drill rigs, drill sites, and associated equipment to a high standard of operational reliability, service, and appearance.
  • Supervise and training of Supervisor I and drillers, correct and safe working procedures, the proper care of equipment, mud mixing, site housekeeping and any other activity needed to support the ongoing drilling operation.
  • Understanding fully the terms of the drilling program and liaising with Site Manager to ensure successful completion.
  • Consistently applying sound drilling practices and techniques to the best of your ability. Consult with Site Manager if conditions become abnormal, or conditions encountered are outside your ability.
  • Attendance, punctuality, general attire of all personnel must be enforced.
  • Your personal presentation, behaviour and conduct meet or exceed company requirements
Key Functions:
  • Ensure Pre-start checks and Safety Inspections are completed.
  • Ensure Servicing and maintenance of drill rig and auxiliary equipment.
  • Supervise daily rig operations.
  • Supervise Core/sample recovery techniques.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Effective communication.
  • Inventory control.
  • Report writing.
  • Training
Pre-start Checks and Safety Checks :
  • Ensure all pre start checks are performed diligently, timely, correctly recorded and reported.
  • Ensure any outstanding issues from check lists are actioned on.
  • If unsafe condition is encountered ensure that this is rectified BEFORE work continues.
  • Ensure Tool Box meetings every held every shift, every rig.
  • Complete one BBS every week.
Servicing and Maintenance:
  • Ensure servicing is performed as per site requirements.
  • Maintain all machinery in good, clean working condition. If faults are detected you must repair or report to Head Mechanic immediately.
  • Schedule planed maintenance.
  • Ensure that all safety shut down system are kept in good working order. If faulty, this must be reported immediately to Head Mechanic BEFORE work can continue.
Operations:
  • Ensure rigs are up in a safe manner, so as to obtain an accurate sample as specified by Client.
  • Ensure rigs are operated in a manner so as not to endanger yourself or any other persons involved in the day to day running of the operation.
  • Ensure rigs operate rig in a manner that conforms to Boart Longyear’s performance targets, policies and procedures.
  • Have a clear and effective plan prior to rig moves.
  • Attend and participate in client site operational meetings.
  • Organise your own time, prioritize your tasks.
Core / Sample Recovery:
  • Safely and cost efficiently provide Client with core/sample.
  • Ensure core/sample meets Client specifications.
  • Stop drilling when core/sample falls short of clients specifications. (recovery. Hole direction.)
  • Ensure hole specifications i.e. angle depth size, meet Client’s requirements.
  • Ensure core/sample are presented in a manner acceptable to Client.
Housekeeping:
  • Ensure all drill site, work areas and access are clean and in a hazard free state.
  • Ensure all equipment are maintained in a hazard free state.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean, hazard free state.
  • Maintain camp and living quarters in a clean, hygienic condition.
Effective Communications:
  • Communicate all relevant information to your team member’s promptly.
  • Communicate with crew to ensure tasks are completed safely and in a time and cost efficient manner.
  • Communicate regularly with Site Manager and Client to establish requirements/tasks are completed and that the job runs safely, smoothly and without unnecessary delays.
  • Liaise with geologist in charge of drill program, but have no authority to alter it.
  • Privacy policy of the client must be understood by all BLY personnel and adhered to.
  • Privacy policy of BLY needs to be understood and adhered to.
  • Liaison between the client on all matters must be agreed upon with the site manager. This must be discussed and an understanding reached on what information the drill crew delivers to the client and what is to go through site manager.
  • Contribute as a valued team member and demonstrate commitment to common goals and targets of the Company.
  • Inform the Site Manager and HR on all disciplinary interactions.
Drilling Coordinator
Qualifications:
  • Min S1 in Petroleum Engineering
  • Has 3 years experience in Oil Company / Oil Services
  • Has certification of Drill & Blasting
  • Has experience to make Drill & Blasting scheduling plan
  • Has experience in Onshore / Offshore facilities
  • Good communication in English (Oral & Written)
  • Willing to work on site area
